Satan, Gods Teenager?

I think everyone here has had a conversation with Satan. I have. I think he IS the Spirit of Insubordination. He is Gods teenager. He is always looking for some pals to go joy riding with him. And, of course, he always has the coolest car, and the coolest threads, and he is so cute and popular (if you are a girl. I am not quite sure what he tells the guys he tries to pick up). He knows just what to say to each one of us, he knows what we want to hear. I dont know how many times Ive climbed into the car with him. I always feel so dirty when I climb out of the car. Unfortunately, I have a short memory, and am insecure enough to fall for the next line. He never has to force me to get into the car with him. Sometimes when I refuse, he just peels out, laughing and spraying gravel all over me.
I hate him then, but I still want to impress him. Maybe those poor boys in Littleton went for one last joy ride. I think teenagers are particularly vulnerable to Satan because they are so young and green, and I dont think we are giving them messages which help them. It isnt enough just to tell them not to get into the car. We have to give them a message which gives them the conviction and courage to stay on the sidewalk. And I dont think it is enough to tell them it is BAD to get into the car with Satan. We have to tell them why it is GOOD to stay on the sidewalk. The sidewalk is where the ones who really LOVE them are, warts and all.
Unfortunately, Satan only has to be as subtle as it takes. The fact that kids are lured into the car by the most unsubtle temptations says something about all of us in this day and age. If I hadnt been in the car so many times myself, Satan disguised as Marilyn Manson might have been just the lure I needed. Do I think Marilyn Manson is Satan? No, but I think Marilyn Manson is out on a joy ride with Satan. I wonder what Satan told him to lure him into the car?
